Jungle Strike is an action video game developed by High Score Production and published by Electronic Arts in 1993 . Originally released on the Mega Drive and Super Nintendo, it was later released on the Amiga, Amiga CD32, DOS, Game Gear and Game Boy.

This is the sequel to Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf.

Synopsis

The story is a direct sequel to Desert Strike. Ibn Kilbaba, son of the general of the same name who died at the end of Desert Strike, has teamed up with a South American drug lord Carlos Ortega to take revenge for what the United States did to his father. The player plays the same pilot from the previous work. This time aboard a Comanche helicopter, he must stop the two men in their plans for a nuclear attack on the United States.

Note the presence of Bill Clinton during the first campaign and the briefing after it.

Game system

The gameplay has changed little since Desert Strike, the helicopter controls are less rigid however, and it should be noted that the lifespan has significantly increased due to increased difficulty and above all a number of campaigns that have increased from 4 to 9 These campaigns take place in locations far more varied than the sands of the Middle East from a city to a jungle to a beach.

Among the novelties there is the possibility of piloting other vehicles, namely a Hovercraft, an F-117 stealth fighter and a motorcycle.

A map accessible at any time during the game allows you to know the player's position, his enemies, allies, fuel and ammunition supplies and to know the status of his helicopter.

The Comanche has 1000 points of armor and can carry a maximum of 8 Hellfires, 38 Hydras and 1000 shells for the Canon M230.
