James Bond Jr. is a 1991 action platform video game developed by Eurocom and published by THQ. The game is based on the animated television series of the same name.
The NES version of James Bond Jr. is similar to most other Nintendo and Super Nintendo side-scrolling platformers. The player controls James Bond Jr. and can run, jump, shoot, and punch enemies while locating objects within a given time-limit. Unlike the NES variant, the SNES version was a mixture of shooting and platforming; alternating between exploration and vehicle missions. Vehicle levels include a side-scrolling helicopter mission (armed with missiles and bombs) and spaceship battle similar to the game Super R-Type.
