Disney's The Lion King: Simba's Mighty Adventure is a video game based on the Walt Disney Feature Animation film, The Lion King and the DVD only sequel, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, came out on PlayStation and Game Boy Color December 22, 2000. Unlike the older The Lion King video game, it was more like the film and the storyline carried on into The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. The bosses Simba faces in this game are Scar and Zira.

The game is mostly a side-scrolling platformer with occasional levels where the camera is top-down. The gameplay is very similar to the first The Lion King video game, in which the player takes control of Simba and must leap and run between platforms while fighting enemies and avoiding pitfalls. During levels Simba can collect pawprint-shaped tokens which add to the overall score.
