Klax is a puzzle video game developed and published by Atari Games in the arcade in 1989 . The game has been adapted for many familiar media.

The game follows the very simple principle of Tetris, adapting it slightly in terms of form.

Several pieces are brought by a conveyor belt and the player has a racket, in addition to the possibility of accelerating (but not decelerating) the movement of the carpet. The game is lost when the pieces forming a pile reach the pallet level (the pallet is no longer able to stack the pieces and place them in this column). To remove the formed piles, more than 3 pieces of the same color must be made. Originality of the system: diagonals are taken into account, which opens up wider possibilities than simple straight stacking. Progression is done in spurts, with the player being able to jump from one level to another in five or ten.
