Tetris Worlds was a Tetris game developed for the PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, Microsoft Xbox, Game Boy Advance, and Microsoft Windows computers, released in 2001.
Tetris Worlds is the first official game to feature the then-newly-standardized Tetris Guideline; this includes SRS, Hold piece, locking hard drop, infinity move reset, and standard tetromino colors. Unlike later games, Tetris Worlds had an autorepeat feature for the rotation button; holding down the rotation key kept the piece spinning continually.
