Pokemon Zafiro also Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire (Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire in English, ポケットモンスター ルビー Pocket Monsters Ruby and ポケットモンスター サファイア Pocket Monsters Sapphire in Japanese) are the first third-generation Pokémon video games. Also called "Pokémon Ruby Edition" and "Pokémon Sapphire Edition", they appeared in Spanish on July 25, 2003, being the first editions of Pokémon for Game Boy Advance, thus having a graphic quality superior to its old editions and novelties in what which refers to the training of Pokémon, a new region, Hoenn, and also new Pokémon, specifically 135 new species. The reissue of these was Pokémon Emerald. On May 7, 2014, Nintendo announced the release of the remakes of this generation, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, for November of the same year.
