Streetball is a variation of basketball played usually on open courts. Streetball is an English word that means "street game", that is, the sport is basically a "street basketball".

For a long time, streetball was not an official sport, but it will assert itself at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 in the 3x3 basketball modality.
