Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja, known in Japan as Fighting Cavemen Joe & Mac (戦え原始人ジョー&マック), is a platforming game developed by Data East and released in 1991 for arcades, later receiving ports to various home consoles.

In a primitive age when dinosaurs roamed the land...

The other tribes living on the side of the mountain, who were always fighting over food, suddenly attacked in the middle of the night and took all the village girls away! The next morning, the village elders held an emergency meeting at Awatete and ordered two men, Joe and Mac, the strongest fighters of the village, to rescue the kidnapped girls and bring them back to safety. The chosen men, Joe and Mac, departed armed with their pickaxes, but... The roads are jumbled and steep, and not only other races but also flying dinosaurs and mammoths are on the way.

Let's join forces and go! The girls are waiting for their rescuers!
